This sweet and spicy fragrance opens with citrusy lemon and sage. The heart contains warm notes of cinnamon, black cardamom, praline, and tolu balsam. The scent closes with dark base notes of black amber, patchouli and Brazilian rosewood. This is almost the exact scent of Black XS in the 2005 version. To compare it to 2018 the difference is this has Brazillian Rosewood. Which is like a rosewood aroma.
But still, very close, all of these share black amber and black cardamom, and tolu balsam. Toulu Balsam in case you did not know gives off The dry resinous aroma consisting of cinnamon and vanilla, while at the same time it has a floral aroma that is inviting and soft.
